    Answer

It is a crime to knowingly violate a restraining order. If you violate the protective order, you may be imprisoned, fined or both. If the violation includes injury, the punishment will be more severe.

  • How Do I Contest A Restraining Order?

    Answer

If you have been served a restraining order, you must take immediate action. If you fail to contest the order, it will be granted and you will not be able to appeal the decision at a later date.
